Rye has long been a magnet for artists. From Lenka’s studio, the silhouette of the Citadel is visible, a landmark on Romney Marsh, and from her house, Dungeness Power Station, Camber Castle, the River Rother and nearby allotments. They all continue to provide rich inspiration and their longstanding history is reflected by the transparent media and built-up layers of these works.
